On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 members of the Elite Strategies staff along with students from Lynn University gathered in a classroom for a unique project.

Over the last few weeks, Dr. Henry Schrader of Lynn University and CEO of Elite Strategies Patrick Coombe have been working on developing a project for the class, aimed at helping students clean up their online presence before they hit the job market.

Members of Elite Strategies staff that led the project included:

  • Elizabeth Stowe
  • Kelsey Cesar
  • Antonino Bologna
  • Patrick Coombe

The 5 part project took place over about 2 hours and involved 5 members of Elite Strategies along with 12 students.

The project focused on locating any photos, articles or properties that might be deemed by employers as “unprofessional.” From there students concentrated on deleting any of those photos and ensuring that their Facebook privacy settings were secure. The primary part of the project involved the students building up their social profiles, primarily LinkedIn, Google+, and Twitter.  You can read through the project outline in PDF format.

“This project was a great way for us to help local students get prepared for the job market. Lynn University has always been a great resource for us, and we are happy to give back.” said CEO Patrick Coombe after the class was over.
