Elite Strategies is committed to keeping elite-strategies.com usable by everyone, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA across every representative page template on the site.
This statement covers elite-strategies.com and its subdirectories.
Conformance target
WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as specified by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. Our working standard includes the new 2.2 success criteria for focus appearance, focus-not-obscured, and target size.
What we have done
As of April 2026, we have:
- Audited the entire site against axe-core 4.10.2 and Lighthouse, across five representative page templates (homepage, service sub-page, blog single, contact form page, long-form legal).
- Remediated all 22 automated accessibility violations found in the pre-launch build. Current automated-scan result: zero axe-core violations, Lighthouse Accessibility 100 on both desktop and mobile.
- Added keyboard-first focus management to the site’s main navigation so keyboard and screen-reader users can reach every link the mouse can.
- Honored the user’s
prefers-reduced-motionbrowser setting on animated hero content. - Replaced the trivia-based anti-spam on contact forms with Cloudflare Turnstile, which is non-interactive for the vast majority of real users.
- Set
autocompleteattributes on every personal-data form field so password managers and mobile keyboards can assist. - Given every navigation landmark a unique accessible name so screen-reader users can distinguish between them.
- Normalized the heading hierarchy so screen-reader outline navigation works as designed.
- Marked every required Gravity Forms asterisk as
aria-hiddenand added a legible required-fields legend. - Added a visible focus indicator to every keyboard-reachable element.
The full remediation is documented in our case study: ADA Website Audit on Elite Strategies.
Compatibility
We test against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. For assistive technology we test with VoiceOver (macOS and iOS) and NVDA (Windows). The site should work with most modern screen readers and with keyboard-only navigation.
Known limitations
An honest list is more useful than a perfection claim:
- The mega-menu submenu panels reveal on hover by default; keyboard users reach them by tabbing through the parent item, which in turn opens the panel on focus.
- Third-party embeds (Cloudflare Turnstile, future video or audio players) carry their own accessibility characteristics beyond our direct control.
- The axe-core
landmark-uniquerule flags a small number of duplicated menus that exist for responsive layout reasons. These are best-practice findings, not WCAG 2.2 AA failures.
How we assessed the site
Self-assessed in April 2026 using axe-core 4.10.2 (automated), Lighthouse (automated), Playwright (automation and browser testing), and manual keyboard and screen-reader walkthroughs.
