Make Your Website Accessible to All

Website accessibility means designing and developing digital experiences that can be used by all people, regardless of ability. At Elite Strategies, we approach website accessibility not as a checklist, but as a strategic enhancement to your brand’s digital presence.

By aligning your website with WCAG guidelines, we help you:

  • Reduce the risk of accessibility lawsuits
  • Improve usability and engagement for all visitors
  • Strengthen SEO performance
  • Expand your reach to a wider audience

Why Accessibility Matters

Reach a Wider Audience

People with disabilities represent a significant portion of the population. An accessible website removes barriers and opens your business to an often-overlooked audience, driving brand awareness, trust, and conversions.

Improve User Experience for Everyone

Clear navigation, readable text, proper contrast, keyboard functionality, and logical page structure don’t just support accessibility; they make your site easier to use for all visitors. Better usability leads to longer sessions, lower bounce rates, and higher conversion rates.

Strengthen SEO Performance

Search engines favor websites that are structured, readable, and user-friendly. Many WCAG best practices, such as proper heading hierarchy, alt text, and semantic HTML, directly support stronger SEO visibility and crawlability.

Reduce Legal Risk Across Jurisdictions

ADA website accessibility lawsuits continue to rise nationwide. Proactively addressing accessibility gaps demonstrates good-faith compliance and helps reduce the risk of costly legal action, no matter where your business operates.

Our Website Accessibility Process

01.

Accessibility Audit & Analysis

Evaluating your site against WCAG standards, we combine automated scans with manual testing to check navigation, content structure, color contrast, and interactive elements. We also flag areas with higher legal risk and deliver a clear, prioritized roadmap outlining what needs to be addressed and why.

02.

Remediation & Implementation

After identifying issues, our developers and strategists implement accessibility improvements efficiently, either directly or alongside your team. This includes fixing code-level problems, improving keyboard navigation and focus states, adding meaningful alt text, and ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies.

03.

User Testing & Validation

We validate improvements using screen readers and assistive technologies to ensure real-world accessibility, not just theoretical compliance. This step confirms your website functions properly for users relying on accessibility tools.

04.

Ongoing Maintenance & Support

Accessibility is not a one-time project. As content, technology, and regulations evolve, we offer ongoing ADA compliance support to keep your website accessible and protected over time. Maintenance plans include monitoring, updates, and guidance as standards change.

Frequently Asked Questions About ADA Compliance Audits

An ADA compliance audit reviews a website against WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards to identify barriers that prevent people with disabilities from using the site. A thorough audit combines automated testing, manual evaluation, and assistive technology testing to produce a prioritized remediation roadmap.
A typical ADA website audit takes two to four weeks, depending on site size and complexity. Brochure sites can be evaluated faster. E-commerce, membership, and large content sites require more thorough review across a wider set of page templates.
A complete ADA website audit includes automated accessibility scanning, manual WCAG 2.2 evaluation across key page templates, assistive technology testing (screen reader and keyboard navigation), a prioritized findings report, and remediation guidance for your development team.
Yes. Many accessibility best practices overlap with SEO fundamentals. Proper heading hierarchy, descriptive alt text, clear link text, semantic HTML, and mobile-friendly design all support both accessibility and search visibility. Accessibility improvements often have positive SEO side effects.
Cost depends on the type of website, the CMS or platform it runs on, and the number of pages. A small brochure site is a different engagement than a 10,000-SKU e-commerce site with custom functionality. We scope each project individually after a short discovery call.
Both. We handle remediation directly on most platforms, including WordPress, Shopify, and custom builds. In some cases, usually older Wix sites or sites built on legacy builders like GoDaddy’s, remediation isn’t the right economic choice. When that happens we say so upfront and recommend rebuilding on a platform that can actually be made compliant and maintainable.
We generally do not recommend them. Overlays create the impression of compliance without fixing the underlying code, and courts and plaintiffs’ attorneys are increasingly aware of that. Some overlays also introduce their own accessibility and privacy issues. We prefer real remediation at the code level.
Both. One-time audits work for businesses that need a clear snapshot and a remediation plan. Ongoing monitoring makes more sense for sites that change frequently with new products, new content, or platform updates, where regression is a real risk. We recommend the right fit after the first conversation.
Yes. We work with attorneys on active cases and demand-letter responses, including remediation on accelerated timelines and documentation that supports legal defense. Proactive engagements are always preferable to reactive ones, but if you are already in that position we can step in and move fast.
Our baseline is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the standard most plaintiffs’ attorneys and federal agencies cite. For specific scenarios, including government contracting, certain healthcare or financial contexts, or clients who want a higher bar, we can target AAA on applicable success criteria. Full AAA across an entire site is rarely practical or required.
We work across industries, including e-commerce, healthcare, legal, hospitality, education, nonprofit, and multi-location service businesses. The exceptions are adult content, gambling, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, which we do not take on as accessibility clients.
