Lecturing and Project Development with Lynn University
Over the last 2 years, we’ve been very lucky to have the opportunity to work with Lynn University in a number of different capacities. We’ve brought in interns, hired students, and most recently began lecturing the Online Marketing class in the International Business Center.
Last evening, our CEO Patrick Coombe was invited to speak to the class, thanks to Dr. Henry Schrader. “It felt great to be back in a classroom and around academia in general. The new international business building is nothing short of a work of art, and everyone at Lynn, especially Dr. Schrader has been amazing,” said Patrick.
During the lecture, Patrick laid the groundwork for a future project that will involve the students of Dr. Schrader’s classroom, and the staff of Elite Strategies. The project will focus on assisting students with their online presence, specifically focusing on their social media profiles and search results.
“Part of the challenge for many students is the fact that a lot of them have “risque” social media profiles. Most of them are completely harmless, but not exactly the type of photos or content you would want to promote to a future employer,” reported Patrick.
In addition to focusing on removal and control of the “bad stuff” the project will focus on creating a positive and professional identity online, which might include aspects such as creating a website, creating social media profiles, microblogging, and more.
The project outline and scope is still being developed, but we beleive it will be something that will be extremely beneficial to the students of Lynn, and a great way for the staff of Elite Strategies to give back.
As progress continues with the project development, we will update our blog with more details.
